our friend is back and typing and on FR again!! last i heard about a month and a half ago i think was that he was going home

Farmer Dean posted back in March that he had colon cancer and that it had spread. Praying that he is still tending his horses and feeling better.
I have had issues of my own, just small stuff, and go silent for days.
Missed him yesterday, hope he pops back up.
A poster who is a personal friend of Deans has been keeping me updated on dean’s progress.
The man has been in and out of ICU too many times since his original surgery.
At times near death.
I pray he is recovering and back home for good.
I’m home and doing well.I spent a year in the hospital,first I went septic because of a surgery error.Then I had 3 bouts of pneumonia.God must have a reason to sustain me,the doctors were amazed that I lived.
Never dismiss the power of your co-pay in making your docs go the extra mile. Glad you are back.

Guess that NYC cynicism is hard to shake for me.
But I did have more than a few old Italian women praying for him so that counted for something :)
Welcome back! I had emergency heart surgery last year but have fully recovered. Well, mostly. Won’t ever be 17 again...
