I’m really happy for them and for a lot of good “stories” in the lives of this year’s team, such as for J.D. Martinez whose career might have been washed up when he was cut by the Astros a few years ago..... heh heh what a turn-around his swing and his life had.

I am, too, but I'm a die-hard Red Sox fan. ;-)

The majority of the players on this Red Sox team are really humble guys. My husband and I have followed several of these players through the minor leagues, and have met some of them. Jackie Bradley Jr. (ALCS MVP!) and Brock Holt are particularly NICE decent guys.
