I believe that your scenario is most likely what happened.
I will concede that she may have believed there might have been some Indian heritage in her background. Old Pioneer families abound with stories of some relative that had “high cheekbones” giving rise to claims that they may have had an Indian great great great grandparent. I’ve heard it 1000 times. But it was a thing that people, especially from Oklahoma, said, and most of the time it is not true.
In Warren’s case, if people in the family did talk about that as something that was possibly in the family heritage, she should have had more evidence and more blood than 1/32nd before claiming to be Native American when she applied for teaching positions. (1 32nd was what she had at best if her family lore was true). It’s just wrong to claim Indian blood at that level, especially if your known ancestors were the ones herding Indians on the Trail of Tears, which hers were.
Our people have been demoralised. These people literally have no morals. It is scary as hell and that is why we have got to defeat them utterly.
I knew that wording would get a response from some people here, but I couldn’t think of a word that fit as well as booty. Loot is close, but loot can be legitimately obtained.
It is a delight. Thanks.
I had some fun things to tweet to her. Rather fiercely pointed but she kind of begs for such with her absurdities.
They look Indian in the face, don’t need to shave, have very dark skin, and have a grandparent or greatparent who is verified Indian. But their DNA comes out without showing any Indian DNA, or sometimes trace amounts. It’s clear that something is messed up with the standard DNA tests and American Indian heritage. With Britain or West European or Iberian Peninsula, it all seems to check out in line with known heritage. But with Indians, it is off.
She just wants a million bucks from POTUS
That’s an excellent graphic.
Democrats in the primaries will destroy her. Trump won’t even need to mention her. Except to make fun of Democrats over the next two years.
Suppose you were a German who had one Greek ancestor from the early 1700s. Would you be submitting souvlaki recipes to a cookbook in 1984?
Journalists have an out. They refuse to answer questions.
On top of that, her recipes were plagiarized from Pierre Franey of the New York Times News Service that was published in the August 22, 1979 edition of the Virgin Islands Daily News.

If the “Native Americans” or Sibero-Americans, wisely refuse to let their DNA be taken it may be hard to develop a data base that allows the determinations.
You are right. The pure Cherokee or Chickasaw only want those who are on their rolls to be part of the tribe, and not some loser who was 1/2 and never signed up to be part of the tribe. So they go by official rolls only, and not DNA, and keep their DNA from being collected. I understand it, but it hurts those of us who only want to know the specific amount, not trying to get a government handout. Warren was tyring to get a job out of it, to the detriment of real Indians.
Capital idea!
Yes! Can you just hear Indian Princess ragging Trump for that million $$, if not today so publicly humiliated by Mr. Cherokee Nation, himself, the Secretary of State!
WINNING!
Not tired of it!
Ooooo! I hadnt even thought of that. Youre so right. Her own pals will take her to the woodshed.
Husband says this is even better. She still proves shes a minority. Just Spanish.
I believe the evidence shows that there may be a Latino in her grannies woodpile. Nothing more.

Just heard from Cats Pajamas! She has a lot to deal with in the hurricane aftermath, and asked me to:
“tell everyone Ill be back some day but right now Panama City is in ruins. We are living in hotel hope to be back soon.”
