Graham has even suggested that Trump could replace Sessions after the midterms, so it makes sense that Graham is the guy who would do that. If I were him, though I wouldn’t do that. He has his seat for the next 2 or 3 terms if he wants it. That’s 12-18 years. Or more. Moving to AG for 2-6 years and giving up that seat would be a big sacrifice.
I still don’t think Sessions is going anywhere. He’s perfect for the job. He keeps his mouth shut and never leaks about on-going investigations no matter the level.
