Back in the 1950s my Grandfather was on the local USDA farm committee. One day the secretary said she wanted to show him something. She brought 2 folders to him. One had a D on it and the other an R. The office manager was identifying the farmers by political affiliation. Of course the office manager was, you guessed it, a D. The good news is all came to light and the manager was FIRED.
