It was aggravating to watch. Surprised they did not take the wheelchair apart too. What A holes. The man’s muscles were trembling. What the hell did they think he was going to do?

The TSA screener appears to be a communist Chinese immigrant.
Nothing humiliating or outrageous about the video. As soon as you exempt a certain class of people(veterans in wheelchairs) they become the mules for the next bomber. We all want to fly safe.
Currently there is no reason for a bearded Afghani to use a mule as they are no more likely to be checked than a 100 year old WWII veteran in a wheelchair.
Like the announcer said. Profiling works in Israel.
Search a 99 year old Muslim.
I will not be a sheep. These searches are humiliating and virtually useless. I had to remove my shoes and belt recently to go to federal jury duty. I was lucky to live through it. To say I was pissed would be the understatement of the year. I am not a criminal or a terrorist and I will not willingly be treated like one.

Agreed. I saw nothing humiliating. Just unpleasant. The tsa agent had a unpleasant task to do and looked like he carried it out very professionally. I would take a tsa agent like him over the big burly GED graduates I’ve had in some of the more southern states.
Better to have the risk of terrorism than the guaranteed tyranny of government.

I didn’t think it was that bad. I got the same once over on a trip last week to Boston. I’m 70 and post operative. She was very gentle. I do think I was chosen because I used my drivers license for ID which immediately shows I have a cc. Coming back I used my passport.
