This is why I always give it a week before updating. Wait and see how the latest patch works for others.
This is also another reason I’m sticking with Win 7 until basic support runs out, then I’ll install Win 8.1 - and when 8.1 support ends, I’m all set to go with Linux as my only/main OS (I’m using it at this very moment, heh).
Win 10 gives new meaning to a “break” from work.
I'm gonna bet that you end up skipping 8.1, that after a brief visit you chuck it aside and go right from 7 to Linux. There's a real good reason almost no one is running 8.1 any more -- those that like 10 went to 10, and those that didn't stayed with 7, or went to Mac or Linux.
