Yeah, I'm not really happy with my presentation.

Mx Granger references the following quotes as reference for his revision....although how good a source for info is 'Usenet'?
He seems to have a gone through a search of esoteric sources to find justification for the Dem interpretation.

Don’t know about ritzy east coast private schools in the 80s, but in Ohio rust belt high schools of the 70s “boof” was a contraction. Referring to a particular unsavory sexual practice. Haven’t heard, thankfully, that term for decades. Never knew it had any other meaning.

Usenet groups were/are weakly moderated forums. For some topics they reflect generally useful information, but for others they are about as useful as a 4chan discussion board, or a DU discussion board.

If the topic was some Unix or internet specification the usenet posts might be informative. In this case Mr. Granger might as well be citing 4chan boards.
