So Kanye was full of crap before when he was a thug, but he’s somehow credible now?

How about we leave off making Kanye some kind of hero.

He’s a douchebag.

Kanye was and is a talented rapper and producer. I don't care about the political views of entertainers - they are usually fools and their opinion is almost always worthless. I don't change that opinion for Kanye.

But what's interesting about him is that he represents the headway Trump is making with blacks and Latinos - headway that establishment RINOs like Flake and Corker, who try to pander to these communities like Democrats, will never make. These are communities which still have members who respect strength in men, and Republicans trying to play Democrat-lite aren't going to appeal those men. Trump does.

Yeah, that's nice. Good for him.

That’s for a thoughtful analysis. Kanye represents a very real paradigm shift. Anyone who can’t see that is foolish.

Kanye likes to announce how much of a genius he is.

He’s a tool - but it’s great, because he’s a tool for us now.

It doesn’t matter what Kanye says. Nothing he can say will make Democrats respect the republic, our constitution or us.

So what we do is let him go out in the no-mans-land and get shot at. Then we point out the folly in the left.

If it was someone respectable then this wouldn’t be that exciting.

Agreed. I’m not huge fan of Kanye or hip hop music in general, but if he encourages young people to think for themselves and read more than just the headlines...then I am for him and others like him 100%. We need more like him.
