So ... typically REPs fold at the first sign of pressure. Not this time. Target in my read is Ford - so it's saying that Ford was given info - like Mark Judge character working at Safeway I presume - to fill in the details of her story. The programming is vague enough to adapt and, then, when the sleeper is awake, they're given the rest of the story they tell.
