Why? It’s Constitutional per Article 2 Section 2, although the commissions expire at the end of the next session. Pretending that a valid part of the Constitution is a “very bad idea” plays into the liberals’ hands.

Now if the Senate refuses to adjourn, it becomes evident what they would be thinking.

My view on COS as well. It's there for a reason. Any part of the Constitution can be abused, and is abused and will be abused more by 'Rats. But, a COS is in the Constitution to fix things, and should be used to that effect. If we don't make use of it, we'll never get amendments that limit congressional powers due to conflict of interest.

Sorry, but a lifetime appointment is better than a TEMPORARY appointment (by the end of which a Leftist President could be in office) any friggin’ day — and it certainly is now.
