THURSDAY, SEP 27, 2018 (All Times Eastern)
Minnesota at L.A. Rams 8:20 pm NFLN/Fox Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum Hey I got this one right! The Rams are looking like a juggernaut, complete on both sides of the ball with big playmakers to match. Long way to go yet but better to be 4 - 0 than any other alternative.
SUNDAY, SEP 30, 2018
Buffalo at Green Bay 1:00 pm CBS Lambeau Field Just when it looked like Buffalo would be the Cleveland Browns of 2018 they rise up and beat Minnesota in Minnesota. And Green Bay... how healthy is Aaron Rodgers? I think he's healthy enough to lead his team to a win this week. Packers.
Cincinnati at Atlanta 1:00 pm CBS Mercedes-Benz Stadium Atlanta is another Super Bowl contender that is struggling. Granted they've had a tough schedule to start: Philly, Carolina, and New Orleans. Cincinnati should be a bit of a break doncha think? I like the Falcons at home. Falcons.
Detroit at Dallas 1:00 pm FOX AT&T Stadium Good win by the Lions over the Pats Sunday night. And Dallas has an offense that is at best.... anemic. Lions.
Houston at Indianapolis 1:00 pm CBS Lucas Oil Stadium I cant figure either of these two... But Andrew Luck is not 100%, whereas Deshaun Watson is. Texans.
Miami at New England 1:00 pm CBS Gillette Stadium T Is Miami for real? I dont know. But I do know that New England has some big problems ... like no one for Brady to throw to except for Rob Gronkowski. So I think Miami is real enough to take this game. Dolphins.
N.Y. Jets at Jacksonville 1:00 pm FOX TIAA Bank Field Looking for the Jags to rebound from that horrible performance against the Titans last week, and Sam Darnold hasnt quite grown into being Joe Montana - or even Joe Namath - yet. Jaguars.
Philadelphia at Tennessee 1:00 pm FOX Nissan Stadium Carson Wentz is back and will improve with every game. This week he'll improve with a win over the Titans. Eagles.
Tampa Bay at Chicago 1:00 pm FOX Soldier Field Chicago has shown a stanch defense but Ryan Fitzpatrick has shown he's more than a one-week wonder. Bucs.
Cleveland at Oakland 4:05 pm FOX Oakland Coliseum Oakland has actually played pretty well, but they have no wins to shown for it. I could say the same about the Browns but they do at least have one win to show for it. Number two on Sunday! Browns.
Seattle at Arizona 4:05 pm FOX State Farm Stadium The Seahawks have not been world-beaters so far, but they're world-beating enough to win over the moribund Cards, even if Josh Rosen is at QB. Seahawks.
New Orleans at N.Y. Giants 4:25 pm CBS MetLife Stadium No way the G-Men can score enough points to keep up with Brees and Company. Just please let Saquon Barkley have a good day (for my fantasy team!). Saints.
San Francisco at L.A. Chargers 4:25 pm CBS StubHub Center Chargers another team better than their record indicates (which seems to apply to them every year). Niners have been perfectly ... meh ... so far. Chargers.
Baltimore at Pittsburgh 8:20 pm NBC Heinz Field Why would I pick the Ravens when they have let me down so many other times? Well... I believe that despite Monday's win, the Men of Steel are still in disarray and have big problems on defense. Whereas the Ravens have lost once, their offense seems rejuvenated and... well, against my better judgement.... Ravens.
MONDAY, OCT 1, 2018
Kansas City at Denver 8:15 pm ESPN Broncos Stadium at Mile High Im not getting off the Patrick Mahomes Express until he gives a reason to do so. Chiefs.
College.... I'll take the Irish over Stanford...
LSU over Ole Miss...
Ohio State over Penn State...
BYU over Washington....
Georgia to wallop Tennessee (sorry Vols fans)...
Army over Buffalo...
And WVU over T Tech.
Have a great weekend everyone and good luck!
