This must be a buzz word being taught at schools. My son is 17 (and goes to a Baptist high school) and whenever my husband and I talk about Trump, said child always responds with “yeah, but he is orange.” Pressed further, he says “that is what my Bible teacher tells us.” Sigh.
I don’t ever remember a teacher in grade school or high school talking disparagingly about the president, and that was during Vietnam and Watergate. I remember having a current events-oriented class in 1972. I was for Nixon. Another guy was passionately for McGovern. We had spirited but civil discussions. We were friends outside of political differences. It’s too bad that world is gone.
