What "standard" can be agreed upon this late in the Judiciary Committee fight?

* Presumption of innocence is out the window since accusation alone is apparently a disqualifying factor.

* Preponderance of evidence is out the door since there is NONE and NONE is apparently enough.

* Beyond a reasonable doubt requires reasonableness, which is completely absent.

* Using the "reasonable person" standard (used to be called 'reasonable man' standard) is out since the LibDem Senators and female Republican Senators (including Flake, Corker, Murkowski, and Collins) are far from reasonable people.

So, we have a new standard which will be defined and crystallized at today's circus. Perhaps it will be called the "Monkeys Throwing Feces Standard" of selecting SCOTUS justices.

Always remembering that this standard is only applicable to Republican nominees. All Democrats still retain their traditional rights to innocent till proven guilty, and privacy.

There is no future wins with what is going on other than the short term win of the tactic being so idiotic that it may cause loyal Dems to have short term protest votes for Repubs. Which would still be a BIG win since Trump desperately needs at least 2 more years of judicial confirmations with no impeachment distractions.
