Agreed. But that will only make it more pathetic and infuriating when the pubbies cave. The dems will win this one. They delayed the vote so the first chick could testify.....then they delayed it again while the allowed her to negotiate her own terms. Now the demholes produce another cockroach from the woodwork (as an aside, if this second one was telling the same story about being drunk at a party and claimed it was Bill Clinton waving his willy at her, the dems would launch the full “nuts and sluts” defense). Now they will delay again to hear from the second bimbo. And delay the vote again. And morons like Graham will say “...well the same are serious charges and we must.......”barf.

Delay, delay, delay is the demholes plan. When - not if -the pubbies cave, they will be crushed in the midterms and lose both chambers. Once this is out past Election Day - game, set and match to upChuck Schumer.

She still hasn't testified. She won't.

That's when the narrative here changes dramatically.

The pubbies need to make a distinction between the Ford allegations, which they should treat seriously, and the others (Ramirez, Avanetti), which they should dismiss as unserious hit jobs that will not be investigated further by the committee. They should then follow through with the Ford hearing — with impeccable courteousness and seriousness — in order to be seen doing due diligence. This will pacify Flake and Collins (who will not make a stand on the Ramirez and Avanetti allegations). Then they should hold the vote and confirm Kavanaugh. The key is to make that distinction and stick with it. It is a reasonable distinction. Not every allegation that comes floating by has to be taken up by the Senate in its constitutional duties. The Dems want all the allegations to merge into an undifferentiated blob that floods the zone and gums up the works. The pubbies should fight this by making a basic distinction that clears the path for them to be seen taking appropriate action and bringing the matter to an appropriate close.
