This is enraging the Asian-American community in NYC, which has historically been politically disengaged.
So who are we invading next?

As a retired teacher in a sacrosanct School of Choice school, I can tell you EXACTLY what will happen: test scores will fall, curriculum and lesson plans will be dumbed-down, standards lowered, white students will be subject to intimidation, bullying and much worse on a daily basis, as will minority students who try to participate in class and adjust to the mores that will none-the-less attempt to still be adhered to by everyone but the new arrivals, behavior issues will occupy at least part of class time everyday, learning will be disrupted. “Failing students” is newspeak for disciplinary problems, suspended and expelled students, even if the policy is strictly NOT to accept the aforementioned students. They always accept them. Need I say more? SoC is one Republican idea I do not support. It sounds good in theory, but in practice, not so much. Be careful what you advocate for.
Anyone think the Mayor’s kids or grand kids go to public NYC schools?
Or move to a new district.
