SPARTANBURG, SC A South Carolina man stepped outside of his apartment to urinate, in view of his neighbors, because his mother was using the bathroom in their home at the time, according to police.
Neighbors got an eyeful Wednesday afternoon at an apartment complex on West Centennial Drive in Spartanburg, according to a Spartanburg Police Department incident report. When an officer arrived, a man approached him, apologizing and telling the officer that he was in the wrong and did something bad.
The man, later identified as Kevin Bivings, told the officer he went onto the back porch of his apartment and started to urinate without looking to see if anyone was there, the report states.
I asked why he did such a thing since his apartment had a bathroom, the officer wrote. Bivings replied because his mother was currently using the bathroom.
The officer asked Bivings if he knew kids live in the apartment complex and he said yes. Police wrote that the back porches have no covering or privacy, and the sidewalk on the porch connects to other buildings in the complex.
A neighbor said he was on his porch relaxing when he saw Bivings come outside.
He just flopped it out and started urinating in front of me, the neighbor told officers, according to the report.
Bivings was charged with indecent exposure, according to Spartanburg County court records. He was placed in the Spartanburg County jail and released on $3,000 bond, records show.
Indecent exposure is a misdemeanor and carries up to three years in prison, under South Carolina law.
Hey, when a guy has to go . . .
A whole lot of people from San Francisco are going to be surprised when they move
When you gotta go, you gotta go.
Kitchen sink no problem.
Blames it on Mommy.
Ridiculous. Good thing the cops have time for This kind of foolishness when SC is UNDER WATER!
When I was raising three boys, ‘No p*ssng off the deck!’ was a DAILY admonition (AKA ‘Mom Yell’) from me!
“A neighbor said he was on his porch relaxing when he saw Bivings come outside.”
I thought he just went outside to pee.
But his coming outside makes this a much stickier situation.
I seem to recall a story in the past few years about a restaurant worker being caught on cam doing that, and it was a problem.

Shhh! That’s on Page 1. of Men’s Forbidden Secrets to Living with Women.
What kind of a jackass wastes police time by making a call over a one-time urination?
So the OTHER man, the one who called in the complaint to the police, had never seen another man’s penis before, and was “shocked” to see his neighbor’s? Did the peeing man miss the flower beds and hit the sidewalk or someone? Did the complainant ask his peeing neighbor “hey what’s up man” and wait for an answer (like I can’t hold it anymore and my mom won’t give up the bathroom).
I agree that wanton “public urination” can, in extreme cases be a public nuiciance worhty of legal sanction. The majority of time it is a victimless crime pursued when necessity dictates.
They had stopped at a closed rest stop to drained their pipes.
Cops stopped by, and threaten them with indecent exposure at 2AM or so in a deserted rest stop.
A few years later, there were stories of rest stops being blocked off, and the reason turned out to be that the stops were being used for gay sex liaisons, and normal people were complaining, particularly when they had their kids with them, about the open and overt sex acts in the rest stops.
Some MA state judge ordered the rest stops to be unblocked.
Long story short. I was at a fairly wild ass adult party and went into the restroom to relieve myself. Failed to lock the door. Just at the crucial moment a drunk babe burst in shoved me out of the way and sat on the throne. Apologized...in German!
Oh for pete’s sake.
Vulgar man needed to be told to keep it zipped outside.
Why post this on a conservative political site?
This kind of dirt just makes life harder.
