National Cheeseburger Day is celebrated every September 18. That’s today! And that means that it’s easy to snag awesome cheeseburger deals today — including free cheeseburgers — from burger chains like Wendy’s, BurgerFi, and Red Robin.
Why is National Cheeseburger Day today? No reason in particular. Like so many of these made-up food holidays, someone decided September 18 sounded like as good a day as any to honor the almighty cheeseburger.

I stopped by Wendy’s after installing the app on my phone. Both Wendy’s near me don’t have the mobile ordering program yet. There is a setting on the app when you go to OFFERS from the HOME menu on the bottom. Click on FREE DAVE’S SINGLE CHEESEBURGER WITH ANY PURCHASE. It will say show in restaurant if it’s not a store that accepts mobile orders. Just show the cashier. Right now there is a $.50 Micro size frosty so you can order that to get the free cheeseburger. I ordered a Jr. Cheeseburger and micro frosty for $1.60 and got the free Dave’s Single! Pretty filling lunch for a buck sixty.

Makes me wish we had a Big Boy down here in the South. Guess I’ll have to settle for some Whataburger this evening.
Hmmmm, that looks suspiciously like a Big Kahuna Burger...
No Big Kahuna Burgers near me, or Whataburgers or In-N-Out Burgers, but there is a Hardee’s, so in honor of the day I got two double cheeseburgers.
They don’t look like the picture, but they’ll do.
We have Whataburgers, Krystals, Hardees and Five Guys......................plus the usuals...............
Best burger is always at your own house!! No other can compare unless you go to a place like Frank’s Steak House.
