The founding fathers tried that but had to do something different eventually.
We tried complacency up until 1941 when we had to try something else.
This is the last chance and if we can’t flush out the GOPe and stomp the leftist dems who are moving towards socialism, We’re done as a country.
We have the violent left and islam to deal with. Neither of them care about our level headed kind words. They both only want to see America fall.

Sorry, but we were discussing Bannon’s film, which I don’t believe could keep America from any hypothetical “falling”.
(And I don’t see why you equate active Thoughtfulness and Idealism as ‘complacency’, as if they were nothing; those were the bases OF our founding!)
I realize that there have been occasions of largely bought-and-paid-for, manufactured violence on the part of the left - but they are just as overblown in the media as the purported ‘hatred’ of the Right is being overblown.
Most people haven’t experienced any of this stuff; they are sitting back, going about their daily lives, looking at their paychecks and job prospects, and Thinking.
