Sorry, I have six. Otherwise.... >)
What a beautiful little guy.
Identical to one my wife snuck into the house. He was abandoned at a gas station mini Mart in Memphis, living off a dumpster. They are flame point Siamese cats. I’m not a cat person but he sure is a pal.
I love these stories. I have a hard time with people who insist they don’t like animals. I’m thinking, “What the heck’s wrong with you?” lol
“To everyone who is wondering what happened to Champas the long term resident of Kemps Creek - he came home with me today, and after biting my hand, went straight to sleep.” - Nathan said via Animal Welfare League.
...
Typical cat. Bites the hand that feeds it.
And gets away with it.
We have adopted two cats from our shelter over the years that were 550+ days in the shelter.
One was very grateful and one of the best kitties ever...the other is a loaner and does not like other cats.
Happy we adopted them nevertheless.
This is a nice story - thanks for sharing!
AUSTRALIA?
We don’t have many on FR from Australia (or NZ FTM) who would have the wherewithall to adopt. I hope it’s directed to them, because it’s kind of pointless when most of us are a large ocean away.
Anyway, I love the kitty - and he’s in truth a buff-and-white, which has always been my good “kharma” with kitties. And I love that his first pix is him sitting like an egg LOL!
Looks like an Office Cat
Seems to me he has found a home
The thing is, Champas probably thinks he’s home. The security and love he got from the staff and customers whom he knows is what has brought him out of his shell. Take him from there and into a place with only a few humans, whom he may not even know, and there’s no telling how he’ll react.
Best thing would be for one of the staff to take him and then he could travel to work with them to see all his friends.
Well, assuming travel to work doesn’t stress him out.
Little Champas has already taken over his human’s bed and is loving his new life.
...
Notice they didn’t say owner or master, but “his human.”
Ah, never mind, he got a home away from home already.
Obviously ‘overlooked’ because he is a WHITE cat, born of privilege and doesn’t or shouldn’t receive our help....
Thanks for sharing. Love happy cat stories!
Beautiful cat. I wish I could take him in. But my cat won’t let me get another.
He looks like a cat I had and gave to my daughter only his eyes are a beautiful light blue. He is so loving.
He’s beautiful
I can’t imagine why he’s not been adopted out yet.
But he looks like an albino. Is that correct?
Sigh, the story is about a cat in Australia from nearly two years ago that was adopted, as noted in the story.
Take time to look at the information before you post it.
