My wife and daughter spent 3 hours in line waiting to view Reagan. As luck would have it, Ann Coulter was in line just ahead of them. They didn’t get to view the casket until the wee hours of the morning.
Regan was a president.

McCain’s minions didn’t Welcome people they spent all their telling people to stay away
The casket was closed.
McCain has few public viewers when compared to Ronald Reagan.
No surprise. Absolutely no comparison between Reagan and “Silver Spoon” McCain in any way, shape, form, or manner.
That’s only because they banned the conga line around the casket.
It is apples and oranges, except it is McCain doing the comparing. McCain’s funeral is what would be reserved for a president, lying in state in two different states. He and his family tried to raise his status with this show but it will fail because he is not held in high reverence.
One man was horrid and the other was wonderful.
One was a traitor and the other rescued our country.
One was a long-time, corrupt US Senator, the other was reelected in a landslide to become a beloved two-term President.
In fairness, it was like a billion degrees outside.
Omg, why even compare the two? Not comparable.
My mind was blown by the quiet deep love Americans had for Ronald Reagan. Not to mention the millions of Russian and Eastern European and Germans he allowed to be more free. Nothing could ever compare. Seriously.
I took my oldest son who was about 14 maybe, and we drove an hour at midnight up to the Ronald Reagan Ranch to pay our respects when he was lying in state. We got into the one lane line on the freeway to wait for the exit. It was miles away from the exit. We went to the northern most exit because we heard coming from the north was shorter. We sat in that line with everyone else for 5 hours. At 5, our car was finally at the exit where we were soon to get to the parking lot where the buses would pick us up and drive us to his coffin. But my husband had to go to work soon and I still had 2 more babies at home, so we had to pass on seeing RR’s casket. So we started driving back down to LA at 5 am. We drove for so many miles, seeing that line of cars.
I don’t know how to explain how overwhelmed I was at seeing that line.
It wasn’t for a concert of anyone’s favorite band.
There was no free food.
No free household items.
No free car.
No one would see you on tv visiting.
No one would get anything else out of this except to walk past Reagan’s coffin and get back to your car.
And yet people waited all night for the chance to file quietly past his coffin in respect.
I will never get over that.
Did any of his Syrian rebel friends pay their respects?
Has anyone heard from al-Baghdadi?
Aretha Franklin’s funeral is going to be a much bigger deal.
Ironically, Obama chose not to go to Aretha’s funeral in favor of going to McCain’s.
Probably mostly journalists
I think we can start planting the notion that McCain is taking attention away from Aretha Franklin’s funeral.
If it’s closed then I don’t believe he died. My opinion is Kabuki theater going on here.
FYI....Folks are already lined up in the very early hours of this morning, by the dozens in Evansville, Indiana to get good positions or seats up front at the POTUS, Trump, Donald J. Trump, political rally being held there this evening, commencing at 7:OO PM local time. The venue holds about 14,000-16,000 people.
Trump as always will have a massive full house rally with at least 15,000 people attending!!! Go, Trump, Go, MAGA!!! Go, Braun!!!

Gee, that’s strange. Just this morn8ng I heard from a speaker at the funeral that Arizona without John McCain is like Arizona without the Grand Canyon. (Paraphrased)
