I feel exactly the same. God gave us a wonderful gift and too many squandered it away. Too bad some of us have to suffer the consequences.
We hear about our founding Fathers being upset with the bad people and they would come back and take care of them. I think the first thing our Founding Fathers would do would be to take us all to the woodshed for letting it get to this point.

“...among the good and decent ones” As are you. This breaks my heart and as I have often said, I do hope when the Lord calls me home that I do not run into any of our Founders. How could we possibly explain what went wrong?
