The county police department is going through public parks and search vehicles to give them a report card on how safe their vehicle is and vulnerable to theft.
Must be nice to live where there is no real crime to occupy their time.
We have a real bad crime problem, it is just that stupid people with money leave their belongings in plain sight.
If what You Posted is TRUE and ACCURATE ...
Without a LEGAL SEARCH WARRANT or VEHICLE OWNERSHIP CONSENT???
IS ILLEGAL AND A BS REASON TO GET INSIDE YHE VEHICLE.
What do you mean by search? Looking a vehicle over, entering by busting out windows, or maybe finding a door unlocked or the keys in the ignition? More info is needed.
It is true and no BS.
I am so ticked off that people think this is a good idea.
They are just doing mental conditioning so the Sheeples get used to not having 4th and 5th Amendment Rights.
Nothing here, Please move along the Yellow Line to the Boxcar.
What county?
I don’t like it, unless there’s a missing person who might be there or a dangerous criminal on the loose. If the concern is safe cars and safe walks, or whatever, handing out an informational pamphlet and offering drop in talks about park safety would be just fine.
I have no active link with which to see more facts on this story. I’m not a member of Nextdoor.com.
It's that holier-than-thou attitude that's a huge part in destroying our freedoms and communities. Lots of folks think that they're perfectly capable of independence but those "other people" aren't as smart or as civilized or as honest or as whatever as they are.
A cornerstone to having freedom is trusting that people with information and norms to guide them will mostly make good decisions for themselves and for common decency.
you’ve found my grandbaby’s car i see.
Gwinnett County Georgia - the purple county that did not vote for Trump and used to be solid red until our elected officials stopped caring about the citizens.
This car would not survive in bear country.
Sounds like a self-correcting situation.
That looks like my old buddies car back in the day..
That is my gf’s car......well, almost....
Cannot draw that conclusion from what was posted.
More information is needed
