I’ve always wanted to go to the Ozarks. I might make this a two-week trip like I did for S.D. and go to Oklahoma and Kansas.
There is a diamond mine in Arkansas that might be doable as a day trip.
I think I’ll save Mammoth Cave for another trip.
Branson will be closer to 12 hours for me. I think I’ll stop overnight.
I’ll probably put a reminder out about this at the beginning of August.
I’d like to do similar - visit the area, see what’s great within a 100 mile radius or so.
Side note to AZ - I was almost correct about the clunking noise on the trunk. Turned out to be a worn/defective link for the anti-sway bar. I just swapped it for a new one tonight after work. No more “clunk-clunk” noise.
