The Shar-Pei pups at J.C. Co Art Kitchen in Kaohsiung look almost too real to eat. Theyre molded out of chocolate, milk tea or peanut-flavored ice cream, and it takes about five hours to make just one.
The ice cream is first scooped into a mold and left in a freezer to harden at -22°F, using a special recipe that allows furry ice crystals to form on the puppys body.
Then artists hand-paint details on the tiny pups, including their big, inky black eyes, using chocolate sauce.

Good Dog.
I don’t know about flavor but I always thought that ice crystals on ice cream didn’t make it taste to good.
Very cute. Not sure I could bring myself to eat Rover
The video shows someone cutting the head off an ice cream pup. It is disturbing. Nice artistry, though.
Thats what I was thinking. No way could I eat that cutie
Let’s see if they can make lifelike chocolate human fetuses, and dare Chelsea to eat one.
While I appreciate the artistry; I think it’s wrong on every level. This is Asia though where they unfortunately eat dogs. They should think about eating people too since they are 99% of the way there. Maybe they could eat all the dog eaters and solve two problems at one time. Just sayin’...
X-pRes. BO’B would have already eaten this puppy - well, at least half of this dog.
A favorite cuisine, we have been told.
Ice cream pups! Good thing I read that before commenting.
Puppies (h/t Jerry Lawler) can get you in trouble.
