#11. Glad you understood the nature of our enemies. The moderate Democrat Left went down in anti-Semitic, anti-moderation, and anti-American flames when they savaged Sen. Joe Lieberman. He was the “canary in the mine” for moderate Democrats, and that is why he was destroyed.
McGovern was a communist sympathizer since his WW2 days, plus what he wrote in a thesis for a religious college afterwards.
He was a fool, a dupe, and a leftist. In fact, he, along with Sen. Kennedy and a bunch of other leftist congressmen were TARGETTED by the Soviets/KGB/GRU long ago. I know why all but one of those listed were targeted by the Communists, they were either sympathetic to Moscow or were easily fooled/duped.
The one strong anti-communist, Rep. James Fulton (Pa), is the anomaly but I suspect it was because he was a knowledgeable anti-communist that he had to be targeted for penetration, entrapment (honeytrap, blackmail, etc). or destroyed.
Jimmie was a supporter of mine when I testified before Congress and exposed a KGB/Communist Party USA-Hanoi operation against the families of POWs/MIAs held in Vietnam.

Thank you for your reply. As I said, I used to be one of them. I’m not surprised by their violence. I’m ashamed to say that thirty five years ago I advocated the same philosophy of much of the current Left but, for some strange reason I knew the Soviet Union was evil. I also bought into the line that the Nazis were ‘’right wingers’’ and I read The New York Times like it was the Bible. My education to conservatism came through a dear friend of mine, since departed. ‘’Paul’’, was a Vietnam veteran. An artillery sergeant with the US Army’s 9th. Infantry Division, he’d been an Air Force brat. His Dad had been a bomber pilot in WW2 in the Pacific and later served with NORAD, Paul had traveled with his family in many AFB bases in America and later in England. He educated me to the fact of who and what the Left really was.
Strange how the old line dems let the radicals takeover without much of a whimper. Even dems on the street that were voting 60 years ago are still voting dem for the most part. No effort is visible to reform their party. Nor do they even care. They just slide deeper into the sewer system.
