My gun message was meant solely to address the anti-gun attitude that so many take these days, as if it equates to evidence that someone is meaning to do something wrong. I wasn't meaning to discount the rest of the statement.

I actually can’t believe the NRA hasn’t spent time/money on this. Plenty of parents would step up and say, “You know, that’s a really good idea, and easy because my kid doesn’t have anything on his record yet.”
