As the tax evasion trial of former presidential campaign manager Paul Manafort began, the Trump-hating Democratic Media Complex renewed its howls, hoping Manafort flips and gives up Trump’s head.
Mollie Hemingway, the conservative senior editor from The Federalist, asked a question on Twitter.
“At this point, I genuinely believe reporters/pundits truly don't understand Donald Trump, his rhetoric, his administration, etc., and aren't just pretending to be idiots,” Hemingway wrote. “But my question is why they continue to be paid to cover a man they clearly don't understand in any way.”
Mollie, they’re not idiots. They’re journalists, highly educated, adept at social media, Washington networking and social gatherings, a class that has deferred to the establishment for generations.
The jokes they tell at the White House correspondent’s dinner and the show tunes they sing in costume at the Gridiron Dinner for the amusement of the ruling class are testament to their deference.
They understand the game, as it was played at Versailles, as it is played in Washington. They also understand that peeling the skin off Donald Trump and trolling the almost 63 million Americans who voted for him, drives viewership and internet clicks.
Trump calls the Washington press corps “the enemy of the people” and “fake news,” and they hate him right back, calling him dangerous and stupid, and by doing so, they call his voters stupid, and worse.
All 63 million of them.
Trump and journalism are now locked in a battle of excess and outrage with neither acquitting themselves particularly well.
Trump, with his constant tweeting and needy ego, has never even tried to be “presidential.”

I would add to this...if you held the same election today...same people involved, I think you’d see two-million Hillary voters flip over to being Trump-voters. By 2020, it might even be four-million ‘flipped’.

Right now journalists, particularly MSM "journalists" are reasonably equivalent to idiots. Although an argument could be made that is unfair to idiots - many of them are nice enough people, just idiots. Journalists, not so much.
They may consider themselves highly educated but they are really only highly indoctrinated. They are demonstrably not very intelligent, average at best across the group as a whole. You can see that partially in the very nature of this article. If they were half as intelligent and educated as they think they are, they wouldn't need to publicly ask what they are not getting about their subject matter and intended audience. I disagree. President Trump is easily winning this one. His comments are cutting because they are true. His poll number stay up in spite of their best efforts - 24x7 100% negative coverage. He genuinely doesn't give a rat's backside what they think, he doesn't want or need them on board. I believe he only takes shots at them purely for his own entertainment. He could safely ignore them and get on with the business at hand. {Diety} knows there is plenty of work to do un-effing that which bammy eff'd up. I believe President Trump calls out the fake news people and organizations because that's his idea of a break from the grind, rubbing their noses in it. Sure, it is a good thing for the US that more people hear him and see how the MSM reacts. The President is serving to educate and open the eyes of a lot of people too.

Presidential? Senatorial? What does that usually mean? Some smooth talking bullsh*t artist who prattles on endlessly saying nothing, promising everything, and then stabbing the public in the back with their globalist agenda. First off I agree with the Marxists/Democrats (like there's a difference) that the police will do their best to "follow orders." And if they're ordered to confiscate our guns I have no doubt that 99.99% of them will attempt to do just that.
But the blood in the streets will not be all ours. This will be an asymmetric conflict. It won't all be dozens of SWAT types gunning down a hapless "bitter clinger." It will be homemade claymores going off in the police parking lots at shift change. It will be SFPs targeting leftist politicians' limousines. It will be prominent Democrats, Democrat donors and members of the leftist establishment (and I include the media in that group) getting hit in ambushes. In short it will be Iraq and Afghanistan brought home to the self anointed elites, and I can be fairly certain that they won't be nearly so happy as they think they will if they manage to take down Trump

IMO, being Presidential means getting your agenda accomplished and sticking up for America. Pres. Trump does this in spades; he’s plenty Presidential for me.
As noted, the nation’s pressitutes really would like to see a 63 million capacty reeducation camp. But again, we deplorables have the guns to say no to that.

The ones that voted for Trump in 2016 had many friends and relatives who did not vote...but may vote now that he has done what he said he would do
And the ones who voted for him are happy as hell
