Probably similar to “deportation” stats - it’s my understanding that they started including people turned away at the border crossings....just to maintain their “we have border security” lie, while knowing MS13 were pouring in.

All you need to do, to answer your question, is to look at a chart of GDP by quarter. There were a number of high quarters during Obama’s admin, but the always precede or follow VERY low quarters. It was simply a matter of moving statistical production numbers from a quarter that was not politically important to one that was.

Even CNN Money says an average of 2.4% for 2014.
Defense spending for 2nd Qtr 2014 pushed GDP to 4.6% then fell back to 3.5% for the third Qtr. 1st was negative at -2%

I’m pretty sure the other poster had it right. I think they revised the number lower a month or so after the report. They did that a lot during the morons 8 years.
