Change is coming to the Dallas Mavericks, including the dancers’ uniforms which will show less skin.
The team told CBS 11 this change is part of the Mavs’ effort to revamp its image after a recent sexual harassment scandal.

I don’t know how the NBA compares to the NFL, but several years ago I went to a Vikings game-great seats, so we were close to the field. I was shocked at the cheerleaders’ moves. Not much cheering, but a great deal of what I assume are stripper moves.
I was glad my kids were not with us!
isn’t that why they are on the sidelines??? They could “cheer” for the team wearing more clothes and still get the job done.
Those lack of outfits were carefully chosen.
Maybe they could put them in burkas and get ahead of coming changes to society.

I totally agree. When will they make the beach volleyball girls and girl track runners cover themselves up?
Who is “they” anyway? Whoever they are, they don’t understand men and in the long run they’re fighting a battle against human nature that they won’t win.
I find that “music” or “song” they are dancing to offensive to my auditory sense. The dancing, if you can call it that is meh. Just more ghetto shaking you can get anywhere on you tube.

I like women in shorts and bikinis and low cut dresses!
NBA and NFL have cheerleaders because the offense has control of the ball and it is so easy to score in those sports, even though the best players on earth are playing the game. Cheerleaders work best for scoring. Scoring is hard in baseball.
