"We went into the gender-neutral bathroom and he immediately shut the door, stood in front of the door and pulled down his pants" the young woman recalled.

In the context, the “gender neutral bathroom” could have been the broom closet, the band room, etc. Any otherwise unused space at the time. There seems to be no “gender-neutral” element to the situation: everyone was their biological sex.
There are two Ballard High Schools in the United States. I graduated from the other one. Boy, you had me nervous there for a second.
The problem is “We went in”
i think i see the problem...
Maybe the gender neutral bathroom is utilized less than the broom closet?

It is simply horrible what you have to go through in order to Even Identify the state that this story took place. I remember when location was one of the most important details in a story. And I am not talking about naming some county where probably many counties with such a name exist across the country. Simply horrible journalism. The TV website is no great help either.
“Demonte Rigny” is the name of the perp. And no, you don’t have to guess. Watch Seattle shitlibs twist themselves into pretzels over this one.
Demonte Rigney, alleged perp
Maybe. Or maybe she thought that, once they entered the “gender neutral” bathroom, they had no gender, so she was safe.
Are the kids allowed pepper spray?
It’s been all downhill since Zestos left. Coincidence or conspiracy? You decide.
You lived in Louisville, KY?
So did I, for 35 or so years. Left in 1999 when I retired.
No, the one in Huxley, Iowa. There’s one in Louisville too? Okay, that’s three then.
Except the lock on the door.
Considering this is a story by a Seattle TV station about a large high school in Seattle, I doubt they thought they needed to go to lengths to identify where Ballard is. Ballard is a community in Seattle that is where the Alaska fishing boats dock (Deadliest Catch), and used to be home to a large Scandanavian community.
This ping list is for the other articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. Articles pinged to the Another Reason to Homeschool List will be given the keyword of ARTH. (If I remember. If I forget, please feel free to add it yourself)
The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.
Maybe. Other rooms may have locks as well.
Kays, who is working on this case pro bono, told KIRO 7 that her priority in filing the protection order was "keeping my client safe at school."
The physical and emotional safety of our students is our highest priority. Seattle Public Schools takes reports of sexual assault very seriously. The district takes proactive steps to keep our students safe and when necessary supports students when sexual assault is reported.
And so after he rapes one girl at one school, they TRANSFER him to another school?
So he can do it again?
The kid should be banned from attending public school.
And WHY on earth did she agree to go into a bathroom with a boy?
Not that that justifies rape or any sexual assault by any means, but really. Stupid.
