Once again, journalists confuse the issue. Two were killed in the rampage. The rampage-killer was then killed as a result of his rampage. There were two dead victims here. Not three. Don't make it seem that there are three.

Therefore, I am forced to go out on a limb and propose the only step that will truly work to calm the public and quell the politicians’ fear that they won’t be reelected if they don’t do something no matter how dumb that something is: Toronto needs an ordinance requiring “Gun Free Zone” signs to be larger and to be lit up at night.
