A lot of thoughts on RR lately. Q said he agreed to resign and then backed out of agreement. That concerns me. RR must now believe the DS and Mueller will prevail and he wants to be on the winning side. RR’s failure to resign or be removed allows Mueller to run roughshod over everything and string out this investigation interminably
I’m confused, I thought it was Sessions who offered to resign. Did RR offer as well? Thanks

I do remember Q indicating he had to recuse, resign, or be replaced when the documents were released.
Q also said when the documents were released it would be the end of the SC.
RR and wifie are in this up to their eyeballs. If RR tried to cut a deal and backed out it is likely he or wifie found a BIG LONG RED SCARF in their closet!

I suspect that the DS threatened RR sufficiently (made him an offer he can’t refuse) that he couldn’t (safely) resign. Maybe not a scarf from a doornob, but he’s the “cow catcher” on the front of the Disaster Express train they are riding. I don’t think Mueller will be able to get that kind of mileage on his effort. Some of the legal eagles were expressive in their dismay that his indictment of 12 Russians was a complete sham (i.e., he bothered to file a hopeless indictment). Again, I’m spending my two cents freely here. :)
