Mrs Dad and I were at the mall Sunday morning waiting for a store to open and while we sat there two different women walked by wearing jeans that were all torn up. Her father was a tailor and we both looked at each other and said that when we were kids those jeans would’ve been cut up to use as shorts then thrown or just thrown. She said her father and mother would’ve never let her out of the house wearing clothes looking like that.
I remember one guy saying that he never thought he'd see the day when people paid good money to look poor.
The really crazy thing is - those ripped up jeans may have been purchased new like that for hundreds of dollars!
