When I was a kid in the 50s my Mom used to make soft boiled eggs for me for breakfast that were swimming in butter.I also remember big cans of Crisco in the kitchen.

I guess I have her to thank for my 4 heart attacks! ;-)

It wasn't the eggs and butter! Transfats, carbs & sugar were the culprit.

Au contraire friend. Fat does not cause heart attacks but your mom, dad, four grandparents, etc. might have.

Heart condition is more hereditary than it’s of us think. That, plus our less active, though I’m betting your dad, uncles and grand dad probably suffered early heart failures.
