Like natural sugar cane, one rarely desires to eat too much saturated fats. Sat fats take care of us feeling full after meals; unlike low fat meals where we are hungry after a short time and continue eating unhealthy foods!
My diet: Only raw sugar cane or coconut mostly or Stevia as sweeteners. Butter, grape seed oil and olive oil as fats. (Some things require shorting, but I don’t do them often and have found coconut oil is a pretty good substitute) Any meats fish and shellfish legumes or nuts for protein. Finish in the produce section.
Rule of thumb, shop around the outside of the store. Avoid the processed stuff. Look at the ingredients if you do buy processed. The more stuff you can’t pronounce the worse it is for you, again, a rule of thumb.
