A group of uniformed "protesters" apparently evaded the ample security during the second half of the world cup. Weird scene as they stopped the match so security could chase them down and remove them from the pitch.
In Russia? I hope they enjoy the salt mines.....
Appeared to be Russian Jr ROTC if there is such a thing. Putin is in the stands watching.
Man, the production team gave a 3-second shot, and then they were finished. Looked like several 18-year old women.
Yep, at minute 52. Looks like at least 2 males and one female. Professionally dressed, I guess that’s how they got through. Game is basically over now with surrender monkeys up 3-1, but the game was in the balance at the time.
Yeah I though policy was no coverage to agitators. Maybe they though (hoped) they were anti-Trump. Very confused and out of place protesters if so. Weird.
No idea who they were, but they were dressed like Mormon missionaries.
Mormon soccer hooligans?
Some very drunk Russians.
Putin in his white shirt and red tie, has that, “Nice try, Mitt Romney” look on his face.
“May I suggest using your nightstick, officers”
Oh soccer? Meh. Expected from hooligans. Thats the clientele
I think when they get to Qatar in four years....there will be whipping squad at the end of the stadium for folks like that.
I still can’t see it happening in Qatar. I think there’s a greater-than-zero chance it will get moved to Germany or even the US.
If these were LGBT protesters, which seems likely given the setting, and they’re planning on doing it again in a Muslim country, whipping will be the least of their worries. They’ll be forced to say “Islam is the religion of peace” before being pushed off a building.
The coverage I was watching cut away from the interlopers after a few seconds and the announcers never even discussed it. Then they resumed the game after a short time.
Putin is handing out the medals. Probably have mics in them...
Pre-documented Siberians.
