I read he saw her sitting on steps one day I guess in front of her house and ran across the street and started talking to her and of course because he's Frank Sinatra he picked her up. Pretty sleazy though that he would leave her when he hit the big time, but hey, he's Frank Sinatra, capiche?

Donor noted the location was near 17 Newark Ave.; most all buildings on this block have been demolished a number of years ago. "
