I swear NY/NJ Italian women have the longest life-spans on earth. I have known at least 6 Italian grandmothers who have made it past 100 years. Has any research been done on this? It must have something to do with Rosaries and chianti in small glasses

Another angle for the northeastern Italo grandmas could be their close social interactions with their families is stimulating for living on with purpose. They are less likely to be placed in senior care assisted living facilities. My grandma dreaded that but it never happened- she died at 89 from heart failure with dementia thrown in. Enjoy heaven grama.
