“Even real talents like Dean Martin branched out into comedy roles, although he was very good.”
Ah Dino, one of my all time favorites. Reminds me of when America was still America. I love “Volare” especially when he switches into Italian. Great memories.
B.S. Frank Sr. would not have hesitated to perform at Trump’s inauguration. He was no Commie-loving leftist.
No kidding. He was a JFK guy...old school democrat...and Reagan.
If your “guessing” Sinatra’s appeal and think Elvis had more talent, then you have no clue who you’re talking about. BTW, Frank Jr.s career was sabotaged a couple of weeks after JFK was killed when Frankie was kidnapped. Sr. was offered help from Sam Giancana. Sr. knew he had no equal, only imatators...ask Bobby Darrin. Frank Jr. was a pretty good singer, but impossible to have gotten out of the old man shadow.
RIP.
Yuck. Heck of a question to be asked too. Pretty sure zero entertainers were asked that about Obama’s inauguration.
