It was axed on CBS (as other shows) at the time for being too “rural”.
I remember they had at least one spin off: Petticoat Junction.
Oh wait....as it turns out, I had it backwards. “Green Acres” was the spin off of “Petticoat Junction”. All these years, I had it wrong. :-0
