Fox reported the pic I posted in #79 was that of one of the boys on the stretcher, but I doubt it. I don’t think they would have put such large boots on the kid. I’m thinking one of the rescuers was injured.

The coach gave the boys his food and helped them stay calm and they meditated. He was in training to be a monk so offered them spiritual healing. The parents aren’t blaming him so that says a lot.
This was nothing but a freak happenstance.
There’s a great guy on FNC talking about their psychological and mental health in the future. He’s saying the boys will be taking their cues from those around them. If they’re treated like victims, they’ll perceive themselves as weak. If they’re treated as survivors who are strong, then they’ll deal with this as making them stronger. He said these weren’t American kids just shy of using the word snowflake.

Does anyone know if any US Seals are doing the diving? I saw Seal Team 5 symbol on one clip. British SBS is there too. The best of the best in the entire world at caving and diving are there I would assume. I'm betting the SBS and US Seals are doing the most dangerous stage, but will probably never be known for Thai national pride. I don't blame them. Just get them out!

No. No USA SEALs.
Anyone bigger that 5'3" and 130 lbs simply won't fit through the narrow passages. Special forces tend to be robust examples of a group (Americans!) who tend to be well nourished and therefore taller and heavier that that.
Americans are on scene rendering help, equipment and expertise, because that's what we do.
