When the New York Mets held their first LGBTQ Pride Night in August 2016, fans waved rainbow flags in the stadium, the Lesbian and Gay Big Apple Corps Marching Band performed, Citi Field’s giant Coca-Cola sign was lit up in rainbow colors and the Kiss Cam caught several same-sex smooches throughout the game. In keeping with tradition, the team honored a veteran at the game, and for that first Pride Night, the Mets honored a gay Army vet.
Nearly two years later, however, the Mets’ hometown rivals — the New York Yankees — have yet to host a Pride Night of their own, In fact, the Yankees are currently the only Major League Baseball team that has neither had a Pride Night nor has one scheduled.
Yup, and for that I hope they win the World Series. I’ll be rooting for them!
I want to see the Yankees win the World Series as well.

Now I’m a Yankees fan, for the first time in my life. At least someone will ignore the LGBTQIDIOTs.
The left will soon put tons of pressure on the Yankees management to host a LGBT night or whatever they call it. This was not a news piece. It was a call to action for the lefty agitators, the rent-a-mobs, and all the Democrat malcontents to go after another target.

Not the sole reason but one of them as to why I no longer follow spectator sports much anymore. I did watch a bit of a World Cup game today but am not engaged in any way over things anymore. Casual interest at best. It’s gotten to the point where you cannot completely avoid this crap but I am finding simple disinterest and avoidance where possible serves one just fine.
