What you point to here is a MAJOR problem in this country and most everywhere else in the world. I’ve been saying for years that the entire criminal judicial system is RIGGED in the sense that the revolving doors on jails and prisons is purposely designed to generate business and huge profits to the legal and judicial communities in this country. Violent criminals should spend HARD time, and by that I mean many years at hard labor with no weight rooms, TV rooms, libraries, game rooms, swimming pools, and other niceties of modern life. Put the bast*rds on chain gangs again with a diet of stale bread and dirty water once a day.
Ayn Rand warned of the corruption of language as one of the main tools of those who hate freedom. I read her when I was nineteen and now at seventy four every day seems like living in one of her stories. I cannot believe how the English language is being twisted and mangled now.

Last night an AK-47 was roaring around my neighborhood on a Harley with a cute little .22 rimfire on the back seat, they shot out all the lights.
