Watch some on BBC ,it looks like a Circus ,the Government Clowns are dragging it out as long as possible

That is 1 1/2 mile horizontally.

Articles that have positive headlines still talk about the timeline. I’ll try to find it.
Rescuers have been plagued by equipment errors, bad math, bad maps and no clear idea of what the cave system looks like.
Those cave divers though... Wow. underwater cave diving is one of the most dangerous activities in the world. There is a very high fatality rate. These guys are doing it over and over and then teaching kids to do one of the most dangerous activities in the world.

Probably have to tow them.
Such a difficult event.

They also said they would send FOUR months of food down, in case they have to wait till October. I know one day a several days ago, it rained 6 inches in just one hour. Would also help if closer to Bangkok, I assume.

Ok, I really dont get this. Give them half hour breathing bottles, put a stout line (rope) around their torsos so nobody can get lost, and just get them out. Or send a submersible nearby. Or drill a tunnel to them. Or another hundred solutions.
This is just stupid.

Pardon me for asking, but what are they doing with all the ‘human sewage’ that will necessarily be excreted? Are they just dumping it back into the surrounding waters? No, I don’t expect the pretty News Gals on CNN to ask those kinds of questions.

I know there is some level of training needed for scuba, but if all you are going to do is be dragged through a tunnel full of water while tied together with rope, is it really THAT hard to get them all suited up?

They must have brought in the History Channel Oak Island brothers as consultants.

Almost every limestone cave system has
another level below it until you reach bedrock or magma. Why don't they find the antechamber below, and blow a hole upstream between the two levels? It'll empty into that abyss for days probably weeks until the levels equal. The kids could walk out in a day.
It's not ideal but it's probably viable.

Where is your tragedy of errors?
To: piytar
I saw a graphic someone posted in a previous thread (several days ago) that showed them 'in' about 2-1/2 miles and 'under' about 1/2 mile.
I would suspect engineers are trying to determine whether they could dig down.
The Monsoon Season is what they are battling.

Wow, ok, that's a little bleak but still see 3 solutions:
1) Blow hole upstream to drain the flow into a lower chamber.
2) Drill down into the Pattaya Beach landing.
3) Using miniature 'dry bell' rescue capsules, haul the kids out one-by-one.

WOW! I stand corrected. But am baffled how or why they got down that far.

"How long were the Chilean miners trapped?" 69 days. One of the men said, upon being freed, "That was a long shift."
