Forecasters are tracking two weather systems in the Atlantic Ocean on July 4, 2018. (National Hurricane Center)
I read this and suddenly got a visual of a group of millenials partying around a big screen tv, cheering the storms on to form hurricanes to promote their histrionics on AGW...
I read this, and immediately remembered how castigated the Gulf Coast was, for voting for President Trump.
I also remembered how much MORE there was of whining along the upper Eastern Seaboard when a hurricane or two swept up the coast, including an evoked “Why us?” or two.
I have been through hurricanes, while living in Delaware, Connecticut, and on Cape Cod. Even at their worst, it was nothing compared to Hurricane Katrina, when I lived in the Greater New Orleans Metro area.
Unlike some, I took the opportunity to “move to higher ground”.
I do not wish these sort of storms on any folks, but as history has recorded, some have come, and some will come. I just take it as fact, and if it does, do what i can, and “BOHICA” the rest.
