Look up the Keating 5 - Juan McCain made $$ while hard working people lost their life saving and homes through a bank scam. McCain should have been in jail, but he ratted out the rest of the 5 and saved his ass. Of course, McCain kept the money and people were never compensated for their loss. Some folks never recovered financially.
