That’s why I only drink wine from plastic jugs.
Just kidding, I don’t drink at all. Someday they will find me slumped over a diet drink. Dead of missing real sugar, or getting a sugared drink by mistake.

Back in the late 1970s I was in a bar with some buds having a few to many beers. My buddy sitting next to me passed out and his head went down and he chipped his tooth on the beer glass edge. We all laughed and woke him up to buy him a beer.

A family member had an incident somewhat similar recently, complete with severed arteries. Thankfully another family member, a first responder, was RIGHT THERE when it happened or bleed out would have occurred rapidly.

If anyone is ever witness to such horrible tragedy, you can save the persons life!
A towel on the wound will help very little considering the volume and pressure.
You have to reach into the wound and tightly PINCH the vein. The head/neck have several alternative routes for blood flow.

Same thing happened here in central Florida. A lady was holding 2 wine glasses riding in a golf cart. The cart turned and she went flying into the street...in top of the glasses.
