A study that ranked all 50 states from “most patriotic” to “least patriotic” also found that, overall, red states were more patriotic than blue states (states were considered “red” or “blue” based on how they voted in the 2016 presidential election).
Using data from the 2016 election and several additional sources, WalletHub measured the impact of 13 different indicators, from voter engagement to volunteer rates and the percentage of the population that joined the military.

For one, I'd like to see her, or anyone else breakdown the Blue States. I'd bet that eastern Oregon and Washington are pretty damn patriotic, as is most of California, Colorado, New York, Illinois, Ohio, and even Jersey. Get away from the urban centers and all of those states take on entirely different characteristics. Hell, Southern Illinois has some of the greatest deer hunting in the country. Folks that do that aren't sipping mocha chai latte's on a sidewalk somewhere in Chicago, Bloomington or Springfield. The hunters in Illinois are the ones that take off their hats, with their right hand, where it's promptly placed over the heart.

Frequency of google search for American Flag? Well that’s just stupid and I don’t even use google. I use duckduckgo which doesn’t track anyone - there is no data for them to go by.
Civics Education Requirement? What is that? Oh, a duckduckgo search brings up Illinois and DC. Never had it in my old school but I do remember things like that from Boy Scouts back when it was normal. Not that they can track my Boy Scout badges.
Would have been easier to just look at a 2016 presidential election results map. Who voted to MAGA?
And you would win the bet! Most of Oregon is actually read, only blue part is where it’s heaviest populated, Portland, Salem and Eugene. We’re very patriotic on the east side! Same with Washington.

American city dwellers have more in common with the socialist European city dwellers than they do with America. Big cities import 100% of everything they consume. In their view importing from China is no different than importing from America except the price is cheaper. They have no loyalty to anything. Like homosexuals, city dwellers do not reproduce much and must recruit their replacement population or go extinct.
While it may be just a fantasy, I’d love to see someone come up with a movement, like they have in California and splitting it up, to have the border between Oregon and Washington changed. Instead of running East/West, split the states North/South. Let the Liberals have their coastal sh*tholes, while real Americans have the rest and more sizeable chunk of real estate.
Hmmm, if they’re more patriotic, why did more votes in CA go to Trump, than the combined Trump votes of Oregon, Idaho, Utah, Nevada and Arizona?
