The so-called “alkaline diet” BS has no bearing here whatsoever. If you have cancer, the last thing you want to do is FURTHER compromise your endocrine system.
Insofar as cancer therapy, a prudent internet boolean search will reveal what others have done “naturally” and it doesn’t involve ingesting baking soda.

I also observed when caring for patients with stomach cancer the impact of ph on a patients ability to produce intrinsic factor in the parietal cells in the fundus of the stomach and the resulting B-12 deficiency, thus causing depression.
Unlike calcium carbonate which is a large molecule and is limited to impacting the stomach, and is further restricted by the gastric cell response, sodium bicarbonate appears to more easily be absorbed by the body.
One of the greatest impacts of proper stomach ph is intestinal flora or bionics necessary for production of neurotransmitters such as serotonin in the gut.

I’ve discovered several unique attributes relating to cancer patients not identified in the research journals that lead me to believe that the predisposition to cancer originates in an immune system suppression caused by the allosteric enzymes in the liver inhibiting the detox process rather than facilitating it. So that enzymes, such as the cytochrome P450 group which actually creates the half life of most prescription medicines by detoxing them from the body are not available for the normal detox process.
This overload on the liver detox system is especially true in the elderly who take a lot of prescriptions and have a lower liver detox response.

Baking soda is communist. Arm and Hammer baking soda still has the glaring red seal. Over a century of supporting the Left.
The whole subject of oxygen availability, hypoxia and cancer fascinates me. Currently they are using injections of drugs like Avastin, an anti VEGF or anti vascular endothelial growth factor to restrict capillary growth, thus restricting nutrients and oxygen to the growing tumor.
Avastin was originally used as an injection in the eye to inhibit the capillary growth leading to wet macular degeneration.
I’ll have to run this by my doctor.
I used baking soda on two basal cell areas, and both disappeared.

Actually, blood is slightly into the alkaline pH. If it reaches true neutral pH (7.0), you’re well into acidosis.
Hypoxia results in a buildup of CO2, which, when dissolved in water, makes a weak acid. Sodium bicarbonate is a well-known pH buffering agent.
We drink baking soda in water everyday. Keeping your system alkiline does inhibit cancer. So does turmeric which we also use daily for arthritis.
